“Anything Can Happen in a Park if You Call Everything a Park”

I never have a reason to talk about parsley. Remember June. The bugs. The bugs eating other bugs. Dusk. The dress made of sun hiked above my waist. The house on Clinch Street? Writing fanfiction about myself while you bathed in adjectives. Afternoons spent fucking on the back of a humpback whale, though we never went near the ocean. And when you woke me up with the hum of tender tides after I built you a chest of armor and called you horse heart, followed by fifteen sounds that were later stolen after being left in a deserted parking lot.
